Getting
to the Area.
If your travelling
from the South or London you will approach via the All, turning
off at Barton Mills on the A1045 for Swafham and Fakenham.
If your travelling
from the North or West you will approach from Kings Lynn on the
A47 Turn off on the A148 towards Fakenham (signposts to Cromer).
Both roads meet
up at a mini-roundabout on the Fakenham "bypass", from
here follow signs to Cromer. There's a second roundabout, continue
towards Cromer, and about ten miles later you will pass the Crawfish
Public House followed shortly after by a long straight with a BP
garage on your left at the end of the straight. About 500 yards
after the BP garage turn left. Continue through Bale and Field Dalling
until you reach the Stop sign by the Langham village Church.
For
Annie's and Yew Tree Cottage.
Turn right at
the Stop sign (towards Holt). About 500 yards on your left past
the Langham Bluebell with the phone box and green opposite. After
the green take the first flint entrance left, Annie's is the first
cottage and Yew Tree the second. Parking is situated just inside
the entrance.
For
Wild Goose Cottage
From the cross
roads at Langham Church go straight over towards Morston. In about
a mile you meet the 'T' junction of the A149 coast road turn left.
About 2-300 yards, past the church and immediately before the Anchor
pub turn up gravel track. Continue to the end, Wild Goose Cottage
is the last cottage on the right, swing round right at the top,
there is parking for 2 cars on the south side of the cottage.
For
Greencroft.
From the cross
roads at Langham Church turn right and go through Langham village,
take the next left turn (just as you leave the village) to Blakeney.
Continue along this road until you come to a cross roads near the
village hall. At the cross roads turn left (along the A149 coast
road), past Blakeney Garage on your right, then pass some new houses
and turn right down a small lane. Follow the lane around the corner
and Greencroft is number 14 on your right.
